Apocalypse

"Apocalypse" means "Revelation," so I hope that the end of the year (which looks a lot like the end-of-the-world apocalypse) is revelatory in its deciseveness and speed of resolution.

I just finished typing my second "short" research paper for my class on Romantic literature. The paper is on Wordsworth and Coleridge. Not that I mind Wordsworth and Coleridge, but I would have rather written on almost anything else, but really, if you were to look at our syllabus, you would think that that whole period was simply an afterthought or a footnote to Wordsworth.

Now I only have three article-length papers to finish off and a couple books to read, and we'll be done! And we'll be married!

My deeper congratulations to Natalie and Bryan and Chris and Susanne, who finished their comprehensive exams today. My fingers are tired, and I've only been typing since nine a.m. I can't imagine how they feel. Susie typed for three days straight.

I was busy drinking beer and watching a movie with Natalie's husband.

Yet I typed all day today. Hmmm...time management....
