Changing the averages
I was posting on here something of an average of six times a week. Sure, you miss one here and there, but now...wow, to even arrive at the Blogger log-in was an unfamiliar thing.
I've been running my tail off around here, and last week, unfortunately that meant no time at all to blog, as I've been getting used to two brand new jobs. No time, of course, except that which I would otherwise alot to things like eating and sleeping. And, I suppose, a guy's gotta have his priorities.
Even so, by this point not writing is starting to feel like I'm neglecting some vital part of my body. It's like a friend had discussed in terms of exercise; at first, when he started to go to the gym, it was everything he could do to drag his butt to the weights; after a while, if even a couple days went by without a workout, he started to get antsy and restless that he hadn't been to the gym.
So it is that now, against my better judgment, I'm writing, when I should be brushing my teeth and setting my alarm.
In fact, I'm going to go do those vital things now. But I had, at least, to shut down my computer, which has been sleeping for about three days now, its power light gently pulsing in anticipation. "Blog on me," it's beckoned. So fine, fine, here you go.
